Winter Palace Ball

On February 13th, 2009, more than 400 guests and supporters attended the 8th hugely successful Winter Palace Ball at the historic Old Mill.  Welcomed by the Hussar's Sword Bridge and Champagne Reception, guests enjoyed an elegant dinner followed by a keynote speech by Mr. Michael Ignatieff, a stunning performance by Anya Goncharova and Terence Cheng, and dancing to the Steve Mitchell Orchestra until the early hours. This year, the camp fundraiser raised an unprecedented $17,000 directly in support of Ruskoka Camp. A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors: OMNI, TD Canada Trust, Bank of Montreal, Brunello Wines, Ethnic Channels, Russian Waves, Russian TV Guide and Photohighway.ca, to the numerous donors, advertisersvolunteers and to our supporters that attended.

This year, registration has started earlier than usual. We already have 66 campers registered for Session #2, and expect to be fully booked with 70 kids in the next week.
