fundraiser promises an unforgettable evening of dining, dancing and elegance ! We invite you to dance the night away to
the music of Steve Mitchell's Orchestra in the glamorous King's Garden Ballroom .

are $100, and $75 for students. Ball tickets

Thank You to All Volunteers and Work Weekenders!
|
|
|
|
Ruskoka Camp is a charitable
organization and relies solely on volunteers to keep it running
throughout the year. Ruskoka is particularly grateful to those dedicated
volunteers that came and worked over the nine work weekends in 2007.
These volunteers are responsible for Ruskoka’s maintenance, growth and
expansion, and also help with fundraising activities throughout the year.
Spasibo! For fun, great meals, good company, and hard
work, please join us for work weekends next spring. We plan to
start construction of the new camp bathroom facility in early May 2008.
We are now also signing up volunteers and campers for camp
next summer (July 27 to August 16, 2008). If you are

St. Alexis
Chapel Update

Construction of the chapel is continuing. This fall, work
was completed on the chapel exterior, and finishing the back wall of the
altar. Senior campers also stained the entire exterior of the chapel.
Interior work will resume in the early spring. Last week, Guennadi
Kalinine has been commissioned by a Chapel Donor
to paint 6 icons for the "tsarskie vrata
" (see proposal attached).

Donations have exceeded $85,000, and we only need to raise
another $15,000 to pay for the remaining costs. Please consider making a
Christmas donation to this
worthy cause. Once again, American residents who would like to make a US
tax deductible donation to the St.
Alexis Chapel in Ruskoka, Canada, can send cheques earmarked

NY 13337-0203, U.S.A. Please check the chapel website for updates, more
information, and details on how to donate.
